To start the year, let me highlight a selection of lots that are presented in our online auction “wine o’clock” #5 to be held from Singapore on Monday, 13th of January 2025.

Lots 129-133
Domaine Arnoux Lachaux
Charles is already fully controlled nowadays airy and aromatic style in 2017 even though new label was only launched in 2018. The Echezeaux shows sour cherry, sweet berries. Amazing density. It has a riper and darker fruits than normal Echezeaux while super silky tannin.
Lots 137-146
Domaine Denis Mortet
Legendary family. "Mes Cinq Terroirs" is unique as it contains five lieux-dits namely "En Motrot", "Au Vellé", "Combe du Dessus", "En Champs" and "En Derée" with average 70+ years old vines. 2018 gives a darker color than most vintages. Of course it is young while it has a huge potential due to the balance and concentration.
Lots 197-198
Rayas
It is very rare to see vintages before 2010 nowadays while both 76 and 83 are winners. 76 are legendary vintages. Both are still in its prime plateau. Spice, meaty, candied fruit, dried dates. Bloom.
Lots 206-223
Guigal
Composite collection of Guigal. Best for vertical tasting. 1977 is big trio among with 76 and 78. Even though 77 doesn't have the fame as 78, this "La Mouline" 77 is still holding strong. "La Mouline" elegant is without doubt while this vintage shows extra power, earthy, black tea and dried red and purple flowers. No rush to drink. Breathing is still needed nowadays.

Cigars
11, 13 and 18 years old cigars. Cigar is the same as wine that aging intensifies the flavors and intensity. All of these have undergone s special wetting process for 11 months, humidified weekly with “wines”.
